About the company
AbaCo® Holding Ltd. was established in 1990. As a lecturer at University of Science and Technology and software designing and implementation expert, Mr Jerzy R. Jaworowski, company founder, was particularly aware of the problems facing academic staff. That's why he decided to do something about it. What we can offer now, after 15 years of experience, is the integrated package for PCs - Management Information System called e-School and (as the distributor) an interactive scheduling package for PCs - CELCAT (Corbett Engineering Ltd., UK). We also offer a MRP system - Pacioli® for Windows™ - a package for company management.
About e-School MIS
We have been creating software for higher education (universities) since 1990. e-School is the first Polish software helping university staff with students records, enrolment and which provides easy deanery, enrolment and financial administration managing . Since our first implementation at University of Science and Technology in Cracow e-School has undergone continuous development. Today e-School MIS consists such modules as: OD (deanery service), OD-WWW, RECRUIT, RECRUIT-WWW, ROZLFIX, OD-CASH. With fifteen years of academic affiliation, the foundations for higher education software have been well laid.
e-School package for PCs is based on SQL Server 2000 or better.
Enrolment (RECRUIT)
Module RECRUIT allows:
- Recording and registration of students (including personal details);
- Room planning;
- You to make any definition of examination subjects;
- You to allocate candidates to appropriate rooms;
- You to produce statistical reports;
- Control of input data;
- Printing of any list or document;
- Full integration with Microsoft Office programs;
- Candidates to input data using the web site;
- Importing of personal candidates data to the candidates index cards in OD module;
- Public data to be viewed on the web site (internet or intranet).
Deanery service (OD)
Module OD allows:
- Marks registration and studies process control;
- Printing examination cards and examination protocol;
- Printing diplomas;
- Create any definition of marks system;
- Create definition of studies process, including individual studies;
- Control studies process;
- Managing social problems;
- Managing problems connected with teaching (didactics);
- Automatically control needed credits;

ROZLFIX
Module ROZLFIX allows:
- Define teaching and rate of pay;
- Receive information about teaching hours and hours beyond teaching, you can also receive information about lecturers salary;
- Create a list of lecture hours;
- Keep personnel records;
- Define rules to count hours;
- Full personnel account;
- Control hours put into teaching programs.
OD-CASH
OD-CASH is an integrated connection between a bank (in which students have their personal accounts) and the OD module (deanery service).
This module enriches OD functionality to allow:
- Automatic generation of students account numbers;
- Generate account numbers on the basis of Customer defined criteria;
- Account numbers are in accordance with NRB/IBAN;
- Full synchronization with program Cash and Account.
In the software Cash and Accounts several important changes were implemented, such as:
- Transfers printing process improvement in serial printing mode;
- Possibility of printing transfers or overprinting on forms;
- Individual students' accounts coding: bar code, unique bank numbers;
- Serial printing generating, personal for concrete studies year and specializations.
Cash resources obtained from student's remittances are booked at University account in one total amount. Information about payment that have been made, are provided to you electronically.
Secondly, information (data) are imported to Cash and Accounts software and accounted on the student account and registered on the bank report.
Thanks to cooperation with Symfonia® software (Matrix.pl), or any other financial software, data about making payments in a bank are automatically imported, accounted and booked individually for each student account.
